The CSW is on Facebook
We’re excited to announce the College of Social Work’s new Facebook groups! Facebook is a social networking website that allows individuals to connect with friends, colleagues, and classmates. By creating groups within Facebook, we have created a space that allows our students and alumni to connect to one another and with the College of Social Work. By posting photos, job announcements, lecture series notices, or information about fun and important events, we hope to increase a sense of community and alumni participation in the College.
You can see our page on Facebook and our six groups by clicking on the corresponding links below:
If you already have a Facebook profile and would like to join the group, use one of the following two methods:
- Sign in to Facebook
- Click on the corresponding group link above
- Below the photo on the right, click “Join this Group”
- Sign in to Facebook
- Click on the groups icon (the two people) in the bottom left of your screen
- Using the “Search for Groups” search field, type in the name of the group (above)
- Select the group from the search results
- Below the photo on the right, click “Join this Group”

If you do not already have a Facebook profile, but would like to start one, it’s free and easy to join!
- Go to www.facebook.com and, using your real name, fill in the information on the right side of the screen
- Facebook will guide you through a few steps as it helps you create your own profile
- Once your profile has been created, use one of the above methods to join the College of Social Work’s Facebook groups
