SI Student Volunteers
Students:
Would you like to attend a Summer Institute in the Human Services class for FREE??? Then come volunteer! Though you will not earn academic credit for the course, you will have the opportunity to learn specialized information in an intensive format.
Full-time students of any Utah college or university can apply to volunteer for a Summer Institute course. If selected, the student is able to sit in on the selected Summer Institute course at no charge. If you are taking a course in the Summer Institute for elective credit towards graduation, you will have to register as usual and pay the accompanying tuition MSW Elective Credit. Student volunteers may volunteer for one class only, and are responsible for checking in/out course participants and for assisting the instructor as needed.
During the class you will be asked to:
- arrive 45 minutes before your class
- pick up your class packet from the registration desk and distribute hand outs to registered participants
- check in/out course participants
- assist the instructor as needed
- collect CEU forms from participants
