Call for 2010 Course Proposals
The Professional and Community Education (PACE) program at the University of Utah College of Social Work is currently accepting course proposals for the 26th Summer Institute in the Human Services. The Summer Institute offers skill-based, intensive courses to professionals (mainly social workers and psychologists) from around the country. These affordably-priced courses cover a range of topics that include traditional intervention models, cutting-edge trends, evidence-based practice models, and non-traditional methods, designed to benefit both clients and caregivers.
Proposals for 2010 Summer Institute courses should include:
- Proposed title for course
- Description of course
- Approximate time format (8 hours, 12 hours, 20 hours)
- Curriculum Vita/Resume of instructor(s)
- Short bio of instructor(s)
Course proposals should be submitted to Farriņa Coulam before October 31, 2009. Course proposals can be submitted via:

Submitting a course proposal does not guarantee the course will be accepted as part of the 2010 Summer Institute in the Human Services. Individuals will be notified as to the status of their proposed course by December 15, 2009.
