April 30th 2005 was a “Day of Celebration“ for the LDS church. 400 volunteers showed up to serve the older adult population in Salt Lake City.

Employees from Mark Miller Subaru, Deseret Management Corp, and Pricewaterhous Coopers participated in United Way Day by substanitally improving the quality of life of three senior community members. 9/09/04

 

07/24/2004

Over the summer a large group of students from Salt Lake Community College's Service Learning program volunteered to clean windows, vacuum, trim trees, pull weeds, and mow lawns in order to fulfill their requrement and improve the qualtiy of life of one of NHN's valued participants.

This past June, students and adult supervisors from Rowland Hall-St. Marks High School helped make a difference in three elderly person’s lives by painting, dusting, vacuuming, and weeding. May 17th, 2004 (Before)
