Hotel Reservations
The Hotel Monaco, a member of the Kimpton group of hotels and restaurants, is the site of the 2008 GADE annual conference. Located in a beautifully restored historic landmark building in downtown Salt Lake City, the Hotel Monaco will be the site for all GADE program sessions.
You may make your hotel reservations either online or by telephone. If you are booking your room outside of the contracted GADE group dates of April 3-5, 2008 (i.e., coming in early or extending your stay), you must call the hotel directly to make your reservations.
To make hotel reservations online, within the contracted GADE group dates of April 3-5, 2008:
1. Go to the hotel's link: www.monaco-saltlakecity.com
2. Select Reservations, and then Hotel Reservations.
3. Select the dates for arrival and departure.
4. In the Rate Code field enter ADE (it is case sensitive).
5. Select Search.
To confirm that you are receiving the GADE group rate ($154 per night, plus applicable tax of 12.7%), you will see GADE - College of Social Work. If you are not seeing that on the page, most likely the correct dates have not been selected. If you are searching outside of the contracted dates (April 3-5, 2008), you will not find the group rate. Once again, if you wish to book outside of the contracted group dates, you will have to call the hotel directly.
To make hotel reservations by telephone, call the Hotel Monaco directly: 877-294-9710 (toll free) or 801-595-0000 (local). If you are calling in, make sure you ask for the Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education group rate to ensure you do get the group rate.
Please note that the cutoff date for booking your room at the Hotel Monaco is March 6th, 2008. If you book after that date, the Hotel Monaco cannot guarantee that you will receive the GADE group rate.
