As a researcher in the Social Research Institute, Susan leads a variety of research projects that currently include an inventory and evaluation of child abuse prevention programs in Utah, and an evaluation of Utah’s Transformation of Child and Adolescent Network of mental health services. She also practices clinical social work with children and families. She earned a BSW from Brigham Young University (1989), an MSW from Portland State University (1994), and a PhD in social work from the University of Utah (2001).
