Joanne Yaffe, PhD, ACSW received a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an M.S.W. and a PhD in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Michigan. Recognized as a leader in Internet applications for social work and social work education, Dr. Yaffe is the author of numerous Internet guides and companion websites for Allyn & Bacon. Dr. Yaffe currently is serving on the University of Utah Graduate Council, Senate Executive Committee, and Committee for a Technology Assisted Curriculum as well as the editorial boards of Arete and Technology in Human Services.
