Hank Liese, assistant professor, received a B.A. in psychology from Stanford University and both his master's and Ph.D. degrees in social work from the University of California at Berkeley. He joined the csw faculty in 1993 and served as the School's Director of Development and Alumni Relations from 1996-2000. His areas of research include child welfare and disabilities. Dr. Liese chairs the Out-of-Home Care Advisory Council for Utah's Division of Child and Family Services and is a member of the Commission on Disability and Persons with Disabilities for the Council on Social Work Education.
