Practicum Agencies

The field faculty, students, and agency personnel collaborate in the placement matching process. Students are referred by the Practicum Department to interview with an agency representative. At which time, both agency personnel and the student can evaluate the fit of the placement for both.

Availability of student placements depend upon multiple factors, including the availability of a University of Utah approved field instructor, the number of students already in placement, and workspace issues. The information below is provided to us by agencies, and can and does change on a regular basis. Contact a member of the practicum faculty at the School of Social Work for the most up-to-date opportunities for placements.
