These committees are combined within the college to form one department. This department is responsible for alumni relations, fund raising, special events, financial partnerships with public and private investors, community service and outreach, student financial aid, and all communications.

Community Outreach/Public Relations

Our path to community outreach begins by providing faculty consultation to community agencies and individuals. An additional fork in the path includes the staff of the college, who, in addition to supporting college programs, sponsor a local elementary school by raising funds for clothing and shoes, volunteering to help students with reading, and assisting with a fund raising carnival. The college sponsors a dinner, games, and entertainment as a part of the University Partners in the Park program to help acquaint the University to refugees and disadvantaged segments in the community. A health and wellness program is offered to all employees and students who wish to participate, and a disaster plan has been instituted whereby college professionals provide disaster help and counseling for staff, students, and the community.

Choose to open the door—and your heart—by investing in the future of the college:

• Give back to the scholarship or practicum stipend you received while attending the University.
• Establish a scholarship endowment fund in the name of a loved one or yourself.
• When planning your estate, please consider a planned gift to the college.
• Invest by donating a gift of time, money, or resources to one of the college’s specific programs.
• Make an unrestricted gift for the college’s greatest need.
• Designate a gift to any of the established scholarships.
